Six years after my Browns moved from Cleveland, the Baltimore Ravens (the team the old Browns became, the team that took the place of the Colts who had long since left for Indianapolis) won the Super Bowl, with the morally reprehensible Ray Lewis as the team's centerpiece. Art Modell got his Super Bowl ring, and Cleveland got a new team with the old name--one that seems to have even less of a chance of winning a chamionship in my lifetime than the former version did. If only we could move this team along and start over once again. Third time could be the charm, even for as cursed a town as Cleveland.
